Katie: Day 4
Hi all! I'm excited to be doing this challenge and these diet blogs seem to really help! Thanks Shelley for inviting me! Cindy - I think you have done one if the hardest things and that is (at least for me) going to the store and buying healthy things! Keep it up! Shelley way to go you really are rocking this diet!
I started dieting on January 2 and have been being pretty good at staying between 1200 and 1500 calories each day. I thought I totally blew it on Friday but when I counted up my calories I was at 1500 so I didn't feel so bad. Here is my break down for today plus what I am planning on having tonight while I watch Downton Abbey :)
Breakfast 126 calories
1 cup Cheerios (always my go to for breakfast when I am counting calories)
1/4 cup skim milk
Lunch 326 calories
Hummus 1 tbs
1 wedge laughing cow cheese
1/4 English cucumber
Turkey sandwich meat
2 slices of bread
1 pickle
Dinner 270 calories
6 oz eggplant parm (from Costco)
1 cup squash
Snacks 210 calories
Fiber one brownie
Snap pea crisps ( so yummy like eating chips)
Then tonight I am planning on having some hot chocolate in a tea cup ( in honor of Downton abbey) and a few little ginger bread cookies ( fake crumpets) and that will bring my total calories to somewhere around 1200!
Each day gets easier and even though I have only lost 1 lb I am feeling better about myself because I am taking better care of myself! Tomorrow I am planning in going to a ballet class and I can't wait! I'm so excited! I am also totally pumped to be loosing weight!

I'm so jealous you are going to be dancing! Go be graceful for the both of us! I am also wishing I was there to enjoy Downton with you. You make me want to buy a tea cup!
