Shelley: Day 23 - Friends Don't Let Friends Fall Off the Wagon - AND PASS THE PEAS PLEASE!

Okay, so I'm lame.  I haven't blogged in more than a week.  I'm working out like a fiend, but I love to work out so that's never really been my problem.  I haven't gained an ounce back but I know to really lose I have to be focused. Thanks to Cindy (Yeah, you're totally awesome!) I'm on the wagon.  I really hate being fat.  It's just uncomfortable and with three kids I need to be able to shake a leg! I have been feeling stressed about our upcoming Primary Program (don't ask) and some tension between presidency members as we sort though the details and as usual, I fed my feelings.  Fortunately, I didn't fling myself off a food cliff, but I wasn't super vigilant either.  Thanks to Cindy I'm back on watch and ready to keep killing it.  Cindy, I hope you saw me walk my kids past your house (that was mile 6 for the day!). Shelley: Day 9 - Vinegar Not Oil

Today was kind of a funky day.  I got in a great workout and burned over 1,100 calories.  But my food was weird.  I think I'm good, but I did a bit of estimating, some of the numbers are a bit high as a result (I like to assume I consumed more than I did, it makes for a fun surprise when I drop more weight!). I got nabbed by the Costco samples (I have a weakness, OK).  Fortunately, there weren't too many of them and two of them were icky frozen fish things no one should willingly consume.  However, I did try to estimate that below. The kids wanted me to make Pizza so I opted to make a WHOLE-LOTTA Veggies for me so I wouldn't be so tempted.  I made sure the veggies were ready first to prevent starvation eating of the pizza.  I did make myself a small slice (like, really small, 2" x 2" at most). Shelley: Day 7 - Mango, Mango, Mango!!

I have Mexican music stuck in my head.  Someone at the gym was blaring their music through their headphones and I can't shake it.  Cha, Cha, Cha!!! Another good day.  I worked out, which always helps me keep my calories in line.  The kids were only marginally crazy, so I really can't ask for too much more from a day.
