Shelley: Day 17 - The Grocery Store Conquered!

Image
It's been a bit since I've blogged, thanks to my crazy busy life.  Things are going well.  I had an over day on Friday.  I lost a lot of weight while I was sick and it was a little depressing as my body normalized.  However, more than 10 lbs in 17 days is still great work and I'm focusing on the win there! I had a great day today.  I was feeling really good so I really ran full out for over six miles and then did weights.  I burned almost 1,300 cals today and it felt great!  I love it when I have a super workout.    Because I burned so many calories I was able to eat a bit more so even though my food looks a little hinky I'm still under for the day! Here's today's breakdown: Budget 1,378 Food 2,526 Exercise -1,281 Net 1,245 Under 133 Breakfast: 240 Breakfast Sandwich, Sausage, Egg & Cheese Flatbread 1 Each 240 Lunch: 360 Wendy's Chicke...

Shelley: Day 11 - No Starving!

Day 11 and going strong.  I have been awesome, as far as eating goes but I did go back up to 195 I'm guessing because I couldn't eat or drink much for a few days thanks to the flu, this is my body rehydrating.  I feel like I look a bit better though.  I decided, this time around I'm going to post pictures every so often so I have to be honest with myself.  So, here's picture number one: I'll probably post one every month or so and then make a side by side comparison just for kicks at the end.   Here's today's breakdown: Budget 1,362 Food 1,934 Exercise -1,056 Net 878 Under 484 Breakfast: 225 Flatbread Breakfast Sandwich 1 1/8 Servings 225 Lunch: 371 Chicken, Breast, Grilled 7 Ounces 274 Salad Dressing, Real Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon 97 Dinner: 747 Pancakes, Blueberry 1 Each 80 Apple...

Shelley: Day 9 - What's up with scales? AND Take a Picture, it will last longer!

So day 9 and I'm currently down 14.1 Lbs which is within 5 Lbs of my low last year!!! Yay!! I have a lot of work to do.  In reality, I need to lose close to 50 Lbs to get to a truly healthy weight but I wanted to give myself digestible goals and trounce them one at a time! Thanks to Cindy and Annie, I am killing it!  We've instituted a fabulous practice of texting which is nice for those in-the-moment-insanity-moments.  I've still got the flu, but thanks to Prednisone (thank you Dr. at the Instacare!), I finally got in a nearly full tilt workout today.  Not exactly 100%, but I'd say 80% of usual.  It felt nice to run without getting dizzy. I'm seriously looking forward to our girl date for Friday night and our get-in-shape date with Alex Richardson (Seriously fabulous trainer) on Tuesday night! So scales, ugh.  I got on last night and weighed 197!!!! I thought, "that's insane, I've been eating spot on and working out, WTH?".  I decided th...
