Shelley: Day 3 - SO MUCH LAUNDRY AND BE FIDDLEY WITH YOUR FOOD!
Since we all have kids I'm sure the above cartoon will make perfect sense. I have cleaned up SO MUCH vomit and therefore laundry, as well as sanitizing everything from the floor to the sink again and again. I don't think my kids have ever been this sick and that's taking into account the vomit fest of 2012. Hopefully, this will come to an end soon. I'm going to try to hit the gym tomorrow even though I have a cough that's going to drive everyone else insane. Too bad I'm selfish and just don't care. :)
Annie, I'm so excited for you and the cookbook. I've modified a few of the recipes with seasonings/or cheats like frozen veggies I'll have to give you my cheats when my new book arrives. My kids vomited all over it so I too will be getting a new one this Friday from Amazon.
Today's breakdown:
I made cinnamon rolls (to tempt my non-eating children to eat) and relied on fast food a bit today which pushed me a bit higher than is seemly. Tomorrow, I'm hitting the gym and killing my food.

BMR CALC: 1,729-1,744= 14 Calorie Surplus (YIKES!). I always struggle when I haven't worked out.
TODAY'S TIP: BE FIDDLEY WITH YOUR FOOD!
I have no idea if fiddley is even a word but, it is a good tip. When I'm snacking I try to choose foods that take effort. Things like a clemetine, that you have to peel, segment, and then can finally eat. Popcorn is always a winner, lots of bites, not so many calories! I also like things that take a while to prepare as snacks. That way I spend more time getting it ready. I don't always get my preference with my insane crew of tiny tyrants but a girl can dream!
Until Tomorrow!
