Shelley: Day 2 - Fast Food Finds!


Ok, so I have been knee deep in vomit and poo today so this is going to be quick.  I really, REALLY wanted to join you ladies at the gym tonight but since I couldn't lets make it a weekly appt!  I'll see you next week.



Above, is a picture of tonight's dinner.  I love this soup.  I make it mostly from frozen veggies (so very little prep) and it tastes great!  Only 264 Calories per bowl!

Today was nuts but I kept my food in reasonable check.  I was counting on my gym time tonight so I'm a little high but not terrible.

Here's todays breakdown:

I'd love to say that I always eat organically, and only eat non-processed foods but that would be a lie!  I am a real woman with real kids and a seriously packed schedule and for the moment three very sick kids.  I spent most of tonight at the Instra Care and getting multiple Rxs because my daughter has a strong gag reflex and couldn't handle the antibiotics.  Ugh.  So, here's the deal.  I don't judge the quality of the calorie on days like today, just the quantity.  Over the years, I've found some of what I call, Fast Food Finds.  Here's a few:

McDonalds Egg White Delight McMuffic (250 Cals, SERIOUSLY)
Wendy's Small Chili with Onions (170 Cals)
Wendy's 4 Piece Spicy Chicken Nuggets (170 Cals, 180 Cals for the Regular Ones)
Wendy's Garden Side Salad (120 Cals)
KFC's Grilled Chicken Breast (220 Cals)
KFC's Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy (120 Cals, I LOVE mashed potatoes.  This is good way to only get              120 Cals worth.)
Arby's Chopped Side Salad (70 Cals)
Arby's Junior Roast Beef Sami (210 Cals)
In-N-Out Protein Style Hamburger with Grilled Onions (250 Cals)

There are many and this is only a sampling but if you're in the car and can't get out (think three carseats worth of children) there are options!
