Challenge accepted!! As we met last night I have been recharged! I looked back at what we accomplished last yean and I know we can do it this year. We have an amazing cheering section, and an amazing support system. Here we go.....

So close to 13 lbs lost I can taste it!  I have a deal with Jason that every 20 lbs he has to take me to dinner at my very favorite place on the planet to eat, Spencer's.  I'm really looking forward to it! I'm so motivated right now.  All I want to do is peel away this weight as fast as I can.  I know I have to take it a bit slow or it will all just come back but the war is on and I am sooooo determined! Cindy and February

So....February came and went. I turned 45, Eliza turned 17, Valentines came and went, I went to New York for work and I kept training for my 10k.(We are now running about 30 minutes at a time averaging 3.5 miles total per run, 3 x a week.) I am not quite the exercise animal Shelly is but I too find that if I work out I am more hungry. My goal was 20 lbs I only made a little over 16. February was hard....too many temptations. However, I did learn that you can drink a ton of water while traveling and you can use the hotel's exercise room all night. I am feeling recharged and ready to knock March out of the water!!! Until then......Spring has Sprung.

Shelley: Day 4 - Eat the Insides!

So, another day of what my family calls "nuke" and vomit.  We call it nuke thanks to my oh so wise brother-in-law.  When he was little he used to make up words.  One day he came out of the bathroom and said, "I nuked."  Everyone asked what he meant and he said, "I nuked, makes you have a sick bum.".  Since then, we've all referred to this particular malady as nuke.  So there was lots of nuking at our house today.  I'm seriously going to have to invest in Lysol with the rate at which I am using their products. I finally dragged all of my children to the gym thinking the worst was behind us (no pun intended) and W had diarrhea and we had to throw his clothes away.  I managed to run about 3.5 miles before getting called away but such is life with three very little kids.  As I have no time for anything, I bought chicken and squash (yellow and zuchinni) to grill for dinner tonight.  It's one of the simpliest and fastest healthy dinne...
