Shelley: Day 160 - The Hebrews Have the Secret!
It's Day 160 and things are still going well. I haven't missed a day of working out (except Sundays) and two days when we were in San Diego but we did so much walking I figured I'd burned enough calories not to be too concerned.
I've hit a plateau with my weight and I've been holding steady at 40 lbs lost for a little while so it's time to get losing again. This tends to happen with me. I do fabulously, then I plateau, and as long as I don't jump off a cliff when I clean up my eating again I can really start dropping.
I promised Cindy I would start blogging again (mostly for my own benefit). I do so much better when I blog it out! So you'll have to put up with my narcissism!
Here's Today's Breakdown:
I should probably point out that the time listed next to the exercise isn't really accurate. I just go by my caloire burn on my heart rate monitor and then futz around with those until I get the right number since the Lose It App doesn't allow you to just enter in a number. I generally work out for two hours everyday and my goal is to burn around 1,100 calories. I guessed a bit low today since I left the watch part of my heart rate monitor at home today (I have no ability to remember anything anymore, ahhhh age, so wonderful!).
BMR CALC: (1,668+1,067)-2,032=703 Calorie Deficit (3,800 Cals= 1LB)
TODAY'S TIP: Hebrew National!
It's summertime and who doesn't love a good hot dog? I can't vouch for their healthfulness (all you nitrite watch dogs out there can turn a blind eye once a year on memorial day. . . right?) but I LOVE the Hebrew National Reduced Fat Hot Dogs. I haven't tried their 97% fat free Hot Dog yet but that's on my list of things to try. The RF Hot Dogs are only 100 Calories each and I just stay away from ketchup (lots of sugar there ladies and gents) and stick to mustard with no bun. I'm not a huge bun fan anyway so this isn't really a hard ship. If I do use a bun, I hollow it out (See tip for Day 78).
Happy Grilling!
